The Crawford Black Tie Wedding in Naperville, Illinois | Jessica & Ryan

Jessica had the biggest crush on Ryan in high school. Years before their wedding at The Crawford in Naperville, Illinois, an Instagram story gave her the opening she’d been waiting for. She replied, hoping to spark a conversation. He answered—and that little exchange became the beginning of their life together.

“I still fan girl over him every day,” Jessica told me, “a feeling I know I’ll never lose.”

Their black-tie wedding brought that story to a beautiful, elegant celebration. But the part I love most is where it all started: a girl working up the courage to message her crush, and the two of them getting to call each other husband and wife.
