Absolutely. Tell me what you know so far and what you’re still dreaming up. A possible wedding date, a baby due this spring, or “I just want photographs with my kids in our backyard” is somewhere to start.

If booking hasn’t opened for your year or season yet, I can add you to the waitlist. You don’t need every answer before you say hello.

Once we’ve confirmed availability and you’re ready, I’ll send your agreement and invoice. Your signed agreement and retainer officially reserve your date.

Your proposal explains the payment schedule, cancellation and rescheduling terms, and everything you’re agreeing to before you book. An inquiry, a conversation, or a place on the waitlist doesn’t reserve a date on its own.

My cameras save each photograph to two memory cards as I take it, and I carry backup cameras and lenses to every wedding and session. Once I’m home, your photographs are backed up again across multiple storage systems.

There’s a lot of care happening behind the scenes while I turn everything we made into your finished gallery.

Yes—I carry professional liability insurance and can provide documentation if your venue requests it. Share any vendor requirements with me beforehand so we can work through those details together.

Absolutely. Your collection includes a personal print release. You can print your photographs, share them with your people, and post them on your own social media. Commercial use and resale aren’t included.

Your permission to share is separate from mine. For family sessions, I won’t share photographs publicly without your express written approval by email—even if they’re faceless. Please only invite me as a collaborator after you’ve emailed that approval; a tag or collaborator invitation doesn’t replace it.

My dedicated office days are Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Central. That’s when I focus on emails, scheduled calls, planning, and the work happening behind the photographs.

It’s me over here—a photographer, business owner, and mom of two. Outside those hours, I may be photographing your people or spending time with mine. I sometimes reply after hours, but evenings and weekends aren’t regular inbox hours. Sundays are reserved for my family.

You’re welcome to send your thoughts whenever they come to you. I’ll give them my attention when I’m back at my desk.
