Reach out at my contact form here. If it's a "hell yes, it's you we want Nicole" — a signed contract and 40% non-refundable retainer lock your date on my calendar. The remainder is due in 2 split payments: 1 at the midpoint between booking and your event, and the final due 1 week prior.

Most weddings are documented solo for a more present, less scripted experience. If the day spans multiple locations or needs more breathing room, adding continuous coverage hours is usually the smartest and most budget-friendly option. A second photographer is a preference, not a requirement, and is helpful for simultaneous coverage in different locations, tighter timelines, or additional perspectives. Every second photographer is hand-selected — friends in the industry who own their own photography businesses or people personally trained to carry the same values. You're not getting a stranger.

Multiple camera bodies, lenses, and all gear for emergencies. Dual card slot cameras — every photo saves to two cards simultaneously the moment I take it to avoid any tech failures. Backed up again immediately when I’m home. Stored in redundant systems after that. Your images are safe.

In almost a decade, myself nor my team have never missed a wedding. I carry full insurance, redundant gear, and I have a trusted network of photographers who could step in if a true emergency ever happened. You will never be left without a photographer on your wedding day.

I'm lighting-agnostic. Harsh midday sun, pitch-black reception halls, deep backlit shadows — none of that is a problem. It's just a different puzzle. Praise the highlights & utilize the shadows. 

Engagement sessions are included with wedding packages on Mondays through Thursdays for couples who book their full wedding with me — it’s time to get comfortable in front of the camera before the big day. I don’t typically offer standalone engagement sessions, because I only have the capacity to accommodate them for my wedding couples.

A rough rule of thumb is about 50 edited images per hour of coverage. An 8-hour wedding typically comes back with 400–800+ final images. I don’t cap deliverables — every wedding is different. 

Sneak peeks first in the first week. Full gallery delivery within 4–16 weeks depending on the season. My average is around 6–8 weeks.

RAW files aren’t included. You can purchase a full JPG vault of your images for 20% of your total contracted price if you want everything unedited.

Yes - easy answer. I've photographed all over the Midwest in the Hocking Hills of Ohio, The Silver Lake Sand Dunes in Michigan, the east coast & Martha's Vineyard, Gatlinburg Tennessee, and out west where my husband & I fell in love. Travel fees are included for destinations within the continential U.S. & are on a case by case basis. But we'll sort that out together!

6-10 is the range most of my weddings fall into. For more intimate settings & micro-weddings, 6 is perfect! For larger gatherings all in one (or very close locations), 8 is the standard. For weddings spanning multiple locations or church ceremonies, 10 is best! I'm a big believer in beginning small since we'll spend time building your photography timeline. We can always add time as we go!

Yes & no. Weekday elopements Monday-Thursday are available on a limited basis. If you're opting for a weekend adventure, I'm so there!

I do not at this time. I am such a stickler for the safety of your images & film doesn't give me the peace of mind like my digital set up does. I do bring my grandpa's 35mm point and shoot to all of my weddings for my own sake - a little piece of the man who started it all with me. If I do take any on your day, I'll be sure to share them with you! I just don't offer it as a package addition.

Wedding photography pricing varies — and honestly, that's a good thing.

There is a photographer for every budget. But budget alone shouldn't be the first filter. The real starting point is connection — does their style move you? Does their energy feel like someone you'd want next to you all day? Does the way they talk about their work make you feel something?

Art is subjective. There is a perfect photographer for every couple — and finding yours means finding the one whose work, personality, and investment in your day align with what matters most to you. Even if that photographer isn't me.

Once you've narrowed it down by feel, then look at pricing. Reach out to photographers whose stated starting prices fall within your range — that transparency matters and saves everyone time.

Documentary. Candid. Editorial.

I don't settle on one specific style. If I had to describe it, I would call it 'paying attention'. Each scene requires a unique perspective to tell a true story.

My editing style is vibrant, true-to-life, film-adjacent, nostalgic. I love deep hues that are consistent with the reality of a scene but slightly punchy. I edit for the emotion of an image overall.
